Both apps turn a tablet into a Shopify kiosk where shoppers browse your live catalog and pay on their own phone by QR. Kioskify is Built for Shopify, charges one flat price, and runs on as many tablets as you like. Cloudshelf charges per store location and caps the screens in each one.

Kioskify has Shopify's Built for Shopify badge. Shopify gives it to apps that “meet our highest standards for performance, design, and integration”, and it checks each app against those standards before the badge goes on the listing.
Cloudshelf's App Store listing doesn't show the badge (as of 6 October 2026).

Charges for every store location, and each plan caps the screens per location.
Kioskify Growth covers up to $5,000 a month in kiosk revenue across all your tablets. Above that, Pro has no limit. On Cloudshelf, cross-sells, upsells, and product recommendations are add-ons on every plan, and the pricing page doesn't list what they cost.
Shoppers fill a cart on the kiosk, scan a QR code, and pay through your Shopify checkout. No payment hardware to buy. Kioskify adds:

Cloudshelf's higher plans add features for larger retail setups: an AI product quiz, card readers at the device, barcode scanners, and RFID, priced at $119 to $199 per store location. If you run a chain and need that hardware, it's worth a look.
If you run an independent shop and want shoppers to browse and pay from a tablet, that's cost you don't need. Kioskify does it for $30.
